I’ll never play seasons. That’s for kids with free time. I’ve had the game since launch and my first and only character is level 50. He’ll get there eventually, but on MY schedule.

That’s the point of having both seasonal and evergreen characters. If you don’t want to play seasons, then don’t.

Seasons are necessary to keep the game fresher for longer. D3 seasons were excellent, and the grind moved from leveling into gear acquisition and gRift pushing. It was a really cool model, and I’m sure it will be more of the same once they find the balance, if they haven’t already in s1.

By all means, enjoy the seasons. I won’t shit on anyone for playing them, and if people like it, I’m glad it’s there. It’s just not something that is within my reach.

That’s why seasons are good though. I enjoy leveling up new characters. I don’t have much interest grinding for hours and hours and hours to level 100.

I think I might actually take back what I was saying. I’ve been trying to rush the story since I was taking my time with the game at first. Now this morning, I’m lvl 50ish and it’s feeling stale. Gotta get through the story, then I might join you over there.
