Into the Dead?

It did finally click for me, but it took well over a year. Someone told me to play for a couple weeks with no goals, and that finally made it happen. I didn’t put it down for another hundred hours.

My old Amazon order says Vivefox, but they don’t seem to be for sale anymore. I’m pretty sure at the time there were a bunch of companies offering the same ones, like a Chinese dropship kind of thing.

I lost four sets of Joycon to drift. I even sent two in to be “repaired”. Talking to support was worthless - I’m convinced that the people I spoke to had never seen or used a Switch before. I don’t think they did anything other than calibrate them and send them back. I ended up buying a 20 pair of knockoff Joycon that have worked perfectly ever since.

Love your username. Believe it or not, I have those exact words as a line of text at the bottom of my phone screen. It’s a reminder for me to see all the time, as I usually have a pretty rough time of things (chronic health problems). Having that sentiment in my face all day every day helps a little with my mental and emotional fortitude.

Oddly, her character is marked as seasonal on the login screen… Could it be because there’s another player on the same console (different battle.net account though) that has completed the campaign? Is it possible that allowed her to choose seasonal when she set it up? She can’t remember what she chose.

Right on, thank you. It’d be cool if they added new side quests every season, but doing the same ones over and over sounds tedious…

Hate it. If it’s a person fine, I guess, but I wish bots weren’t allowed to create posts at all. I would rather see Lemmy grow very slowly than see Lemmy become a mirror of Reddit, with shit tons of scraped posts that have little to no engagement on them. That’s not a community, it’s a newspaper. I don’t understand the “massive growth at any cost” mindset.

I think that’s an awful lot of assumptions. The fediverse is not brand new. Maximum user adoption no matter the cost isn’t the only road forward. Threads is no more necessary to the fediverse than Twitter was.

TBH, I think a lot of new Lemmy users are addicted to their social medias and just really, really want to use Threads. Which they should then, but it doesn’t need to subsume the fediverse in order for them to do it. Go make a Threads account. Have fun.
