nice! love to see the work on keyframes.
i always thought /usr stood for “user”. Please tell me I’m not the only one
The difference is, that you’re using something for free, and you can disable this very easily.
I love that he finally talked about it. He shortly mentioned the switch to Linux a while ago, in a gaming video, and Im excited to see if this makes Desktop Linux a bit more popular.
I’m not that deep into the topic, but I experimented with GTK and tkinter as a kid
you eat cigarettes?
Idk, use whatever desktop environment with whatever theming suits you, there’s a seemingly endless supply. and if that really doesn’t work, try to make your own, i guess!
It’s mostly a joke. There’s a thing on Printables where people make stupid gardena adapters and multiple cigarette devices. (At least I hope it’s a joke. Please don’t smoke multiple cigarettes xd)
It’s worrying for sure, but I think the PLA might give up earlier than the chassis. That said - you never know, it might still bend the laptop.
I’ve heard of “Disk Driller” but I have no idea how sletchy it is or if it’d work
I used Windows 7 before, but my first computers all ran Linux. (Raspberry Pi 2b with Raspian; First 64-bit PC ran Ubuntu Mate)
Daaamn, that is crisp. Funnily enough, i did the same thing with the same camera like a year ago, but yours is much better

That might be due to me not knowing what I’m doing and because my tripod screw on the camera is somehow a bit loose.
Sadly the instance where I posted it from got shut down, so I don’t know if you can access it. If you’re interested, I could dig the files up
You should probably look into if there’s a company doing this local to you. Either way, I’m very interested in this too.
God I hate what the modern Internet does to my brain. I had to double check if that laptop is AI generated
I dont think the community is generally against AI, there’s plenty of FOSS projects. They just don’t like cashgrabs, enshittification and sending personal data to someone else’s computer.
Well you can, but there only are quite hacky approaches like
I believe you can buy a dummy HDMI plug and use Deskreen to host the screen in a webserver. This should work, but I don’t think it’s a good solution.
Edit: Deskreen seems to no longer be maintained and therefore doesn’t support wayland. I think it’s because of the Ukrainian war, and the creator being directly affected by it.
I’ve been using Wayland on my Debian 12 - KDE laptop, and it’s been working fine, except for Flameshot. Also, the task bar has some freaky behaviour
