This looks interesting, I hadn’t heard of it before. Do you know if they support sas controllers?

This was the cue cat incident right?
Do that while explaining how that contract clause works!
Huh. So commenting on the content of the article means it wasn’t read? That’s a really odd position to take.
220, 221. Whatever it takes!
You know, that’s a really good point, but this is on such a bigger scale and if it’s a known problem today, I think they would know about it by the time they can build something like that.
Yeah. Ringworld was written way before that and Dyson thought it was a cool idea. Glad to see it used in other stories.
I read the fucking article. What makes you fucking think I didn’t?

Imagine a slice of a Dyson sphere, about one earth wide and one earth deep.
If a civilization can figure out how to make one, they can keep it from sliding into the sun!
A Ringworld would be more likely than a Dyson sphere, the mass requirements are so much lower.
Try getting a used server. You can find one on labgopher. For the budget you have, don’t expect something great but it’ll be a start.
Similar for me. I went with PopOS this time, and it all just works. I’m thinking of switching to KDE Neon, just because I’m a KDE fan. One piece of advice I have is to have your home directory on it’s own so that if you do switch distros, you just install to the system drive and you don’t affect your data.
In my mid 50’s. I use a steam deck and my PC running Linux.
It’s like Ligma but different
That makes sense. I’m a lazy guy and I didn’t want to try testing so I went with a known quantity.
You should take a look at getting sas enclosures. They’re pretty cheap, like $200 for a 16 bay. That will be so much more reliable.
God-tier shit post. I hope this becomes legendary copypasta.
I’m OK with them wanting to keep making money from it as long as they update it for compatibility with newer operating systems. Selling something they have completely abandoned us not cool.
I haven’t done it other than for testing, but you can pair a fire Stick remote to a PC using Bluetooth and it works with Kodi.
