Easy to rattle off bullshit like that if you’ve wasted as much time as I have on Souls lore videos
It’s a clementine, not a grapefruit 🙂
Hitting a target nobody else can, that’s skill. But it takes genius to hit a target nobody else even saw.
Clem was a good man, and a genius. But within him, there was a seed of something else. His servant Banaida believed in him and dedicated his life to their work. After the Scourge of Clementor, he made the choice to use their research to mutilate himself. His body became a mighty steed to lead him into battle. Spelljammer maybe?
Really I just miss games that are intensely and deeply “written”…Like Arcanum, Morrowind, or Disco Elysium. I want a game that is actually several books encased in game software. BG3 is close, but I want something even denser. I’ll be so gratified if Larian is on the same page.
More Arcanum would be very welcome.
Activism would help very little, but at least it isn’t fatalism.
Got any neighbours who might pay for some of that?
I thought you meant The Outer Wilds, and spent a solid two minutes on a routine sanity check. Hadn’t heard of this game though, so we’ll call it even 😸

Russia will not be seeking to get a firm NATO response in the form of troops mobilised; they will be seeking to carefully undermine confidence in article 5 with small offenses that “should” trigger it but (they hope) don’t, causing fractures in the alliance that will allow them to be more brazen. They don’t want to deal with blocs of countries, they have more leverage in 1:1 negotiations and will seek ways to force more of these on NATO members.
Ditto.
That’s a key part of the dialogue. Social media is not quite infrastructure, and it’s not a service that can be monetized without moral hazard of some kind. It should therefore be owned and operated by communities.
