…oh BTW there is no mobile app.
What a joke.

KDE is FULL of bugs, multi year bugs that go on and on, serious bugs that completely breaks many KDE products. They look good until you actually start using them.
KDE has never fixed any bugs I reported, no KDE developer, not a single one has ever replied to any of the bug reports I opened. No KDE developer has ever replied to messages in the various chats and message boards over the years so I gave up reporting anything or seeking help.
Other users have confirmed all the bugs. There is no help or community for using KDE at all.
Using KDE is like shouting into the void, it is a very isolating experience.
Why would I donate to a void?

I don’t understand this. How is it better then ssh into a served?
If it was an Android app I would see the purpose but if I’m in a computer why would I use this?
What is the use case here?
Cent see a use case for this device then. Its already heavier than my clamshell laptop with no keyboard a 1.3" smaller screen and 45% less battery.
Portable devices need to be portable.
The weight is 0.98 kg. Do you think that includes they keyboard?
Agreed their privacy policy is not good and the owner was on record as being anti-privacy some years ago.
There was an excellent site that analyzed the privacy policies, public statements made my employees, owners etc, their history, organizations or donations that companies supported in terms of privacy and integrity. Mailbox was in bottom quartile of the list.
Sadly the site is gone but it was excellent, multiple page analysis of each provider.
Technically however it is maybe the top provider based on the excellent disroot analysis but disappointing for privacy.

It seems that KDE spend 100% of the development time rounding corners and 0% fixing the multitude of crippling crashes and bugs that plague the software making it unusable for daily computing.
I don’t think this organisation has its priorities straight.
