you’re fine, dude. no idea what the other person is talking about.

I know it’s not the point of the article, but the humor all through made this a much more enjoyable read. ☺️
oh I getcha. another comment told me the LED can change colors on the OLED so I was confused.
Ahhh I see. I didn’t know that. I think I was just hoping for a solution to dim the normal white charging indicator.
thanks very much for the reply.
it just said for the OLED version. Does it not apply to the LCD version? I am trying to find it, but I’m having no luck.
every single day for me. it’s my home device. I have other consoles, I just like this one.
it does everything I need so far.
this is just one random dude’s opinion. it has no meaning whatsoever to anyone except him and his fans.
You love what you love! don’t worry so much about what one dude says about the games you like. 💕
you’re so welcome! I am happy it is so well loved in it’s old age. 😊
Have fun!
I’ve played a couple of different versions, but honestly the original snes on an emulator is the version I always reach for now.
I feel like other versions have different set ups or change the way the game looks or feels. but the snes version is consistent and reliable.
Don’t be like me and buy it on every conceivable platform. lol XD only to find that the snes emulator is the best.
I can confirm. I also have a fidget cube. my favorite side is the lightswitch one. 😊
I’ve done all except leaving discord, but that’s because I’m the owner of some servers. and I don’t want to abandon friends.
that and I’m not entirely sure how matrix actually works. I am a newb with a fairly smooth brain.
but I only use fediverse now. lemmy, mastodon and I’ve swapped to peertube for my TV and newpipe for my mobile app.
I don’t know if this helps you any, but my main controller I use for my steam deck when it’s in docked mode is an old Xbox 360 controller and I have one of those USB cord adapters.
mine is not an original Xbox controller, but it does work with the little dongle you can get for them.
that’s not dumb at all, it’s a great use for it! I had planned to make mine strictly an emulation device (which it’s amazing for) until I realized how well it handled bigger titles. not perfectly by any stretch, but mostly smooth and playable.
I had never played any of the fallout games and I’ve had a blast with new Vegas and fallout 4. I’d owned them for years but just never got around to it.
if only I could stop playing bg3 for long enough to get through some more of my backlog…
I honestly reach for it more than my Xbox or switch. it’s easy to pick up and put down. easy to charge. and stuff runs fine on it.
It’s not for everybody, but I love my deck.
I can spend what I saved for the game. I can’t spend 100 bucks for the version that let’s you play 5 days early. 😢
it’s because a lot of us didn’t pay for early access. so we have to wait.
works fine on mine. I just play plugged in
I have 140 hours on steam deck for BG3. I’m having a blast.
omg I also have the official dock and it has also given me tons of problems. I’m glad to not be alone.
in my experience, you can get pretty smooth gameplay at the cost of graphics, or pretty decent graphics at the cost of smoothness and fps.
I have mine set to pretty ok-ish settings for both. but then I tend to swap between handheld and docked for most games. so I’m kinda used to the graphics by now.
hope you find a setup you like <3
