I feel like this would be better suited for a WoW sub like the greentext sub and not the general gaming sub.

Honestly. I kinda would have liked to try concord, but I sure as shit wasn’t going to pay to try it.
Capitalism
I don’t understand what people were expecting this is an Ubisoft game, they are always mediocre trash.
I have some games on GOG. It’s fine.
I would love to see reasonable competition to steam which would give consumers and developers better options, but Epic ain’t it
Agreed. Why would they force you to pay 40 in a genre already overpopulated and most of them are free.
Lemmy is small enough and growing that if you want a community and it doesn’t exist, you should start it. Since it will be small the amount of moderation would be reasonable even for a part time user. As the community grows and if you no longer want to mod it, you can hand it off, but, start it none the less.
What?
Classic Scorch.
I heard the PC port was abysmal, so not sure it is even playable on the steam deck, let alone able to be verified.
I want to get back into destiny, but after this Bungie can get fucked. They aren’t getting a dime for me or a single minute as a concurrent user.
That’s an insanely efficient machine.
I do think it’s a reasonable entry point for those who do not understand the labor implications of this. Approaching people with the sentiment that their favorite games are dying makes the segue into how problematic embracer actually is much easier.
We can ultimately be upset about both things, that embracer is killing games while also killing jobs.
Few games do it well, and I suspect we are getting those games because of early access. Other games exploit it, they can get fucked
Fuck embracer.
