People do eat bear meat. I’m sure some just skin it and leave it but it is plenty edible.

SCOBYs (Symbiotic Cultures of Bacteria and Yeast) could have some possible applications as fake leather but I don’t know if anyone is working on it or if it could actually be made strong enough.
One example where we just do not have an equivalent is motorcycle gear. Yeah we have textile jackets, and I have one because where I am the risk of heat stroke in a leather jacket is more of a concern, but if you want abrasion resistance, leather is the best you can get. Can SCOBYs compete with that? I don’t know.
Guitars are definitely an anomaly in instruments just because of the economy of scale.
Then you have the other end of that spectrum like anything with the words “Contra Bass” attached to the front, where the acceptable ones start at $10k
It’s a safe and legal thrill!

iFunny, 9gag and I don’t know what the M is.
Y’all got windows though right? You could throw some portables in.
Ah. So yeah like the other person said those static blades are stators. I havent found a good name for the cone aside from “aft cone” but that’s more for turbines. The stators should help it make pressure (that’s what they do in turbines) but the only reason I see for the aft cone is reduction of turbulence and since this is for cooling the hot end turbulence is actually a positive thing because it reduces the skin of hot air that sits against the heatsink fins.
If you’re pusing enough air you may benefit from a nose cone but it should probably be more hemispherical. Also an intake cone that’s like a trumpet bell might be beneficial.
For noise, most is probably in the blades but you may see some reduction by adding a sweep to your stators and/or adding a jaged pattern in some places like all the new jet engines do. Like this: https://www.nasa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/qtd2_sunrise_3024x2016_0.jpg
Granted, on the scale we’re talking here all of this will be splitting hairs.
What exactly are you trying to do, if you don’t mind my asking?
Just trying to quiet those loud fans?
The cone shaped hub in the middle? Same reason you’d see a pointed nose or tail on a plane, to reduce drag and turbulence and possibly noise. With some fans it doesn’t really matter but at high enough flows it’ll become worth it to spend the extra money on that part to make it cone shaped.
Look at airplane propellers. On them that part is called a spinner. On an old, slow, biplane with tons of cables and other draggy parts, it likely wont have one because it’ll make no difference anyway. But on anything that’s the slightest bit sleek you’ll have one because it will significantly reduce drag.
No, the Fire TV Stick is a streaming stick. The Fire TV is a TV with the stick built in and it makes you go through the Amazon Fire UI to do normal TV things as well.
“The-Original [Long-Hyphenated-surname]”
Either Hobo with a Shotgun, or Tucker & Dale vs. Evil
You could even automate that entire process.
Require customers to email support, require a log file, have your log files show if mods are installed, auto reply that the customer should reinstall the game without mods and see if the issue persists.
Without studded tires I don’t see how it’s possible on ice. Snow, I feel like as long as it’s not transitioning surfaces (ex: asphalt->snow or snowy dirt->snowy asphalt) I might be able to figure it out.
I should clarify, that coldest time I went was still a beautiful clear day and it warmed up later.
Only time I was truly miserable was when it was about 40F, on top of a mountain, and started raining unexpectedly (so no waterproof liner). I went back to the cabin as quick as I could and took hot bath.
Though not intended as motorcycle gear, the insulated overalls are probbaly the biggest improvement.
Upper part of my body was a Sedici Aventura with all vents closed, water/wind proof liner, insulating liner, and I can’t remember what jacket I had on underneath but I think it was a Carhart. I ended up taking out the waterproof liner to get some breathability. Also keep in mind the coveralls insulate your core as well, just not shoulders or arms.
My face and neck were pretty cold though but I think I have a solution.
So that puts my cold weather ability in the 30s and hot weather at upper 80s, I can do 90s but it’s not that enjoyable. I need some actual motorcycle pants instead of just jeans, and also a mesh jacket would be nice.
I’m in mostly Texas so this temperature range lets me ride year round except for the hottest part of the summer when I have to do it early in the morning.
Lol, if I see those numbers they’ll be acompanied by a yellow triangle with a snowflake in the middle…
And yes that means us Texans will get a cold weather warning if it hits 68F. Since people ain’t used to driving on asphalt that ain’t melted anymore.
I’ll just throw on my near-freezing weather motorcycle gear. I only rode once in the full getup at 35F and had to pull out a layer.
As long as you can keep the evaporator above the evaporation temperature of your compressed refrigerant, you’re golden.
Also keeping the evaporator from getting covered in ice where it doesn’t work. Yeah you can defrost but in certain weather it’s just going to ice up immediately.
