Cause a lot of indie devs are also idiots when it comes to business decisions. Many (especially solo devs) didn’t get into the industry to make boatloads of money; they are often creative types who are passionate about their work.

For anyone that has tried it, does ratatouille taste good? It looks visually impressive, but the flavors seem kind of basic and there seems to be a lack of starchy carbs.
ADHD?
Like the Castro or Boystown?
There have been 38M PS5s sold so clearly anything less than 38M copies of FFXVI sold is a complete failure.
Switch games aren’t; the large ones are 20-50GB. And you can just toss in a 1-2 TB SD card if you need more storage.
Nope. I am actually using ultra settings with a few of the options then turned down. I followed the instructions here: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/baldurs-gate-3-system-requirements-pc-performance-and-best-settings-to-use
Running pretty well for me 30-40 fps on mediumish settings. Gamepad works great. It also has cross save so I might pick it up later for ps5.
GeForce Now while you wait?
OMG finally. Now I can find the new games I’ve bought when I go on a spending spree and buy like 10 games
Could be worse.
Glances over at the Xbox
I went ahead and bought it for the Steam Deck. Might buy it again for the PS5 next month if I really like it.
Have yet to try but I’ve read you need to turn on proton experimental for it to work. I’ve seen that people are getting roughly 30fps with medium settings and FRS. Also, the final release has gamepad support.
I’m probably going to give it a try later tonight and can update then if you’re still interested.
Get ready for early adopters to be upset at you when you lower the price. There’s probably no winning with pricing.
Many of us former Reddit Sync users requested that he make the app for Lemmy, so in a sense we do have a contractor type of relationship with him. Hence why many former Sync users are comfortable paying the amount. I think a lot of people who are complaining about the price are just not the target audience for Sync.
I like the idea of cold soba. But whenever I’ve tried it I’ve been very put off by the feel of cold noodles. I feel the same way about pasta salad too.
If it has a SD slot, 1TB seems like overkill. The top Steam Deck only has 512GB.
I’d buy a Switch 2 if it played first party Switch games at 2K/60fps. Specifically Pokemon, Zelda, and Xenoblade.
Then buy the monthly or yearly? The lifetime is just a third option.
I picked 10 cause the price was about 10x higher.
Reddit has toxic positivity with regards to Starfield. I find the comments I’ve read here so far to be a much more measured take. Basically that it’s a good game but it has a few minor issues that make it not live up to what was advertised.
