I find it sad how much one overclock changes gameplay, simply because there’s 20 other overclocks and 2 full secondaries that you’ll basically never use. I wish special powder was a grappling hook upgrade.

You could set up your own cloud, yes, but you could also use only ‘client’ devices, without ever having an off-site computer in the network.
If you want to edit macros in Excel, you’ll see a Vista window. Vista! In 2024!
The Custom Engineered Framework, which you can get from Cargo Crates.
Gun! Unix? Not!
Are the version numbers going to be mm or caliber?
Fully tepairing at the lest second really is an anime move, isn’t it?
GNU isn’t punchy though; as soon as any punchy word get’s associated with them, people will use that word instead, and we’ll just get GNU/Thermite or GNU/Abson or something.
I can confirm that DMs have temperamental unread message behavior.
I got a DM a few weeks ago, and nothing I do can clear the (1) badge from the messages icon. When loading the app it randomly stays or goes; sometimes it thinks it’s unread, other times it’s read and the badge is gone.
I’ve never had an issue with push notifications though, the first one was sent properly and has never been duplicated.
Wait until you need nested commas, those lists won’t delineate themselves!
Definitely. Not only is grinding interrupted, they’re stacked in such a way as to present a new hazard.
Also not nearly as fun as diving underneath.
Mortar Rounds and Big Bertha for the Thunderhead Autocannon are a ton of fun. Just shoot bug.
Rewiring Mod for the Drak is an interesting playstyle where you keep shooting for more ammo. It feels very counterintuitive after conserving ammo for so long.
Explosive Chemical rounds for the Lok-1 are a bit difficult to pull off in a crisis, but very satisfying to delete waves when it goes right. Hyperpropellant on the PGL is also great, it about as close as we get to a railgun so far.
Blistering Necrosis for the Wave Cooker turns a naedocyte popper into a Praetorian killer, and it pairs well with big hitters like the M1000 or an axe. My favorite driller overclock and favorite season 5 overclock has to be Combustive Goo and a Plasma Burn EPC for a fire starter. It’s like a liquid C4 gun, or the two headed dragon from HTTYD. Trap anything in the goo wave, then blow everything up! If something big catches on fire you can keep the explosions going through multiple charged shots and obliterate anything smaller than a dreadnought! It’s so fun!
I can confirm that Boost occasionally crashes while scrolling the feed.
I like hiding votes until you’ve voted. Allowing users, communities, or instances to change how posts/comments are sorted might help too.
Dang EDD 3 is tough. Blunt Avalanche is accurate. Each cave is rather small and filled with Barrage Infectors and Cave Leeches, and the horror means you can’t slow down. Doing that solo sounds like a nightmare.
I’m impressed by how accurately this fits!
Duck and Cover is quite overtuned too. 3 spreaders and 12(!) acid spitters in one subwave is alarming when your weapons don’t reach the ceiling.
I do like the crawlers though. A tad fast on high difficulties, basically impossible to hit weakpoints, and a bit too coynterable with ziplines and AoE, but definitely a welcome change of pace!
I’m actually really enjoying the double hazard season rewards. I wish double hazards normally gave more rewards than just stacking hazard bonus. A guaranteed lost miner/cargo crate maybe?
You can’t find a single example from r/Overwatch? You’re not looking very hard then:
“Jump scare at the end of POG” “Supports almost never get POG, now we don’t even get a card at the end of the match.” “First POG is match POG” “We want to talk after the PoG” “This guy’s whole team left after the first round so we gave him POG…” “Behind every Rein Pog is a support going through a rollercoaster of emotions” “I remember when PoG was tweaked for assist points and every pog was Mercy rezzing two people and dying.” “My friends and I have always called it POG. Not sure why but its what we do. I guess thats where it came from”
In fact, the large majority of the use of “pog” refers to Play Of Game and not hype. I did notice that this usage is more common in the last 4 years, while pogchamp is mostly used 4-7 years ago. The earliest upvoted usage of POG I can find there is “Taking Trobjorn and Bastion POG into a new dimension.” from 8 years ago though, so it was used contemporaneously with PogChamp.
POTG is definitely much more popular there, but saying the POG usage doesn’t exists is just wrong.
Also, news organizations have a horrendous record with slang, that’s terrible evidence. Especially when your source is a 404.
Besides, I can get spurious souces too (and they work!):
“POG” an overused term on twitch that means “Play of Game” Woah, that was pog. by SSR Rules September 23, 2020
Hmm, so I learned of pog in 2016 when my friends were into Overwatch, and pog was definitely used as an acronym from Play Of the Game (POTG is very clunky to say).
However, the PogChamp usage is from 2011, so the play of the game usage is either coincidental or an intentional decision on the part of Blizzard/Activision.
Most importantly, the POG in PogChamp does actually refer to the beverage disks. Weirdly enough, they were just a prop in an awkwardly acted ad for a gaming peripheral by a professional Street Fighter player/streamer. The actual usage of PogChamp probably started on 4Chan before appearing on Twitch, after which it spread.
Is it really pogs that started this and not “Play Of the Game”?
