A simple, inoffensive action that grabs attention but doesn’t involve shouting into people’s faces. Love it.

Where was he even streaming from? I thought he was banned from Twitch…
“I’ll buy anything that’s shiny and comes from Apple” 👌
Sony Releases Stupid Piece Of Shit That Doesn’t Fucking Work. Replace by Sony by Apple and it still fits perfectly.
“It’s all I know” 🎉 Just inertia.
We need a new way to symbolise a good game like QQQ for Quality Quality Quality or something. AAA just means unfinished mess that cost a lot which you pay extra for.
What is “feminist propaganda” and what would COVID-19 have anything to do with the game? What would either of those have to do with the game? Isn’t it based on the legend of the monkey king? Are they afraid they’ll make a meme of him spreading COVID to kill his enemies or something?
What a shitty title to the article. It should be “Actors demand action over unanticipated video game sex (and rape) scenes”. Especially if the actor may be a rape survivor, asking them to act that out without any warning is idiotic at best and harmful at worst.
I see your reading comprehension is atrocious.
Ross is right, if you don’t propose an alternative and don’t actually try to do anything to bring that alternative to the public, why don’t you just fuck off?
Here’s an archive of the page.
Ms Tweedale, 58, is said to wear low-cut black corsets, fishnet tights with high heels and a gothic choker with a pentagram when she attends the office.
She’s trans and her attire led to a minister stating that kind of “fetish gear” cannot be worn at work. Others working with her say it’s highly inappropriate and unprofessional. That’s the gist of it.
If we want to hit the niche and terrible business practice of incorrectly advertising live service games or always online single player only games then call that out directly. Not just “videogames” as stated in the initiative.
Spoken like an idealist. Video games is probably the biggest thing that will gain traction. Sure, it would be great to tackle the entire issue, but the people making this initiative aren’t using other software that does that shit. Saying “care about all the people” dilutes the issue.
Hard disagree with Thor on this one.
I was in a sport team for a while and they hadn’t been treating me well for a while. One day, I slipped and fell during training. Instead of somebody helping me up, the majority of the team laughed at me. Something in my mind snapped that day and it nearly led to my first ever physical altercation. However, my punch just turned into a feint with the thought “fuck this, I’m out”.
That was the day I learned not to let things boil until they explode. Put me into any salad and I’m not the calmest cucumber, but I have never let things get that close again and always speak up or just straight up leave before getting too heated. Life’s just too short to stay in a bad situation you can get out of.
I understand the username now. That’s rough. Good luck to you in your future.
What do you mean by “acceptable”. People accepted a lot more?
When on the fediverse, there’s a good chance someone will tell you to install linux. With this sort of question, honestly I guess there’s no way of knowing how much access they have if you logged on with your work account on your personal computer. IMO, you shouldn’t be using your personal computer for work stuff unless they are somehow separated. I have no idea how to do that with software, so the easiest is to ask my job to provide a laptop and only use that laptop for work.
I avoid Amazon. Deleted my account years ago. They treat their workers like shit, don’t pay their taxes, extract wealth and send it overseas, pollute like there’s no tomorrow, but most importantly, Jeff Bezos is not a nice man.
My shopping happens mostly online, at farmers markets and local stores.
If Nazis made a great product, would you start supporting Nazis?
Because what you see on your screen is new. I bet you if you did some new shit IRL, it would be more impressive than on a screen. Dude, go sky-diving, racing, diving, kayaking, snowboarding, surfing, rock climbing, or play an intense game that physically wears you out. Travel to some place with a great view in the morning to see the sunrise and nice place to see the sunset. Go see the northern lights and tell me that’s mundane.
I love screens too because they let us see different worlds and even the impossible - inside of a star, quantum realms, spaceships, life as ant, other worlds, species, and a bunch of other shit, but if you see it all the time, that’ll be mundane too. I fell asleep to Dune, bro. Blockbusters with special effects send me to sleep because I’ve seen that shit thousands of times. Just got used to it. Probably that’s what happened to you.
Israel just made it impossible to get through security…
