But you aren’t required to upgrade, it will just not be as fast/HD as it would be on newer hardware. On console it is very likely the old hardware will not be developed for at a certain point, so you will not be able to play it even if technically it would run decent on the hardware

Social aspect of games is way bigger than movies. You don’t even talk during a movie.
I got a cheaper AMD GPU specifically because I do not give a fuck about ray tracing. Also just look at the steamdeck, you can get great performance for very cheap nowadays. It might not be as powerful or nice as a PS5 Pro, but the $700 computer has many advantages in its favor
It just feels so anti-consumer and everyones forgets about it and they just happily pay for content which can no longer be owned only rented.
Nah we just knew how to hide it better sobs
If you pay for the discs, you can’t use the discs on future generations. Right? Ps4 can’t read ps3 or ps2 discs. Xbox one can read xbox and 360 discs, but they limit it to only specific games. So in general, you have to buy it once again on their online store, if its available at all.
And the best part is you don’t have to pay for online and you won’t need to rebuy your games each new console generation.
You could buy a pretty nice PC for $700
My favorite??? Thats tough, started on the PSP with with the three up to MHFU, and have played just about all of them since. The best would probably be MH4U, I’m a big fan of the older style gameplay. World and Rise are fun, but they feel a lot different, a bit too many changes for my taste
Right, hate it when my gaming PC gives me depression lol.
This is why pirating what you already owned should be morally correct :)
But once you get it working, it works. It’s not as hard as you imagine, got a working Linux gaming setup in less than an hour after building my PC, and with software like EndeavourOS and Proton, you can get yours setup in such a short amount of time it’d blow your mind.
Oh yes my fully disc based games are all on my account now of course, not like they’d make you buy them again right?!?

This video does a good job explaining it. TL;DW Its an overwatch clone that came out about 6 years too late, looks generic af and can hardly compete with the free and interesting games already available
I’m pretty sure you don’t need to update Arch that often?
Can’t wait to pirate this game
