Depends on what you want to use it for. As others have said Nextcloud is super popular, I’m also a fan of https://syncthing.net/ to keep stuff synced across devices

Yes, Arrs are the way: https://wiki.servarr.com/
Well said!
MacOS being a bad example here since Apple only needs to make its OS work on a very small set of hardware that they control wheras Linux (and Windows, yes) need to work on probably hundreds of thousand if not millions of devices (including Macs 👌) with at least the same amount of peripherals combined in almost any imaginable way. That’s a completely different task.
Ahhh, ok, thanks for the info!
Did 404 come out of nowhere or have I been sleeping on them?
Indeed!

If you’re into selfhosting (this is datahoarder after all) I recently got around to backing up my fav channels with

and it’s very good indeed.
My now partner for more than 15 years both met face to face (online dating worked for me) in a smallish town in Portugal for the first time (she was living in the UK, I in Germany) and on the first evening we both met former clasmates of ours that we hadn’t seen for years, it was kinda wild.
Yeah, Eevee-Next with displacement and other ggood stuff, really looking forward to this!
Some very nice new features with comment moderation and automatic transcription via Whisper (not sure how I feel about that) again 👍
Juggling?
Yes, that sounds familiar!
Yeah, skimmed the article ans they dont seem to mention tge problem of having no oxygen (which might be a problem for the moss?), Mars not having enough gravity to hold an atmosphere (or is that bs?) and also the timescale (I think terraforming takes at least tens of thousands of years?).
I have a tiny pocketknife with a tiny scissor on my keyring which has come in handy countless times over the years when opening parcels or various food packaging, can reccommend.
I hate this, I don’t know about this specifically but usually it would maybe not be easy but doable to do things right because (FOSS) solutions exist but thanks to politics, bureaucracy and capitalism it always ends up as a giant trainwreck of bullshit (with weird glitches where they get it right once every thousand tries like with the Covid app in Germany).
I would say it’s mostly smooth except for a few annoyances like lots of apps not displaying icons correctly in taskbar or taskswitcher but a standard Wayland icon.
