For me it’s a fun hobby, plain and simple. Some people like maintaining saltwater tanks, some people like miniature train sets, I like maintaining a smart home and automating repeat tasks.

This stuck out to me too. Why are you fixing things on their PR? If their changes broke the tests then they need to make the changes to fix them before merging
I bought my two sensors two years ago now. Haven’t had to replace the batteries yet and no connection issues or anything. I use one of them to turn on the lights at my front door when I open it and it’s always done it’s job quickly. Z-wave so ofc you’ll need a dongle.

It runs at 30fps on the real switch so that’s what the physics engine expects.
I do use a dynamic fps mod on my desktop because I get 40-50fps. I’ll try that one out though, the one I’m using doesn’t handle prerendered cutscenes properly. Their speed doesn’t scale with the framerate, so I’m looking for one that fixes that.
I’ve playing it on the deck by streaming. I get like 20fps if I run it on the deck. Is there a trick I missed to get to 30?
For PCs, Daily incremental backups to local storage, daily syncs to my main unRAID server, and weekly off-site copies to a raspberry pi with a large external HDD running at a family member’s place. The unRAID server itself has it’s config backed up to the unRAID servers and all the local docker stores also to the off-site pi. The most important stuff (pictures, recovery phrases, etc) is further backed up in Google drive.
Still using the adobe suite version I pirated in 2014. Should probably look for a newer one, it’s been almost 10 years
The raw nginx error page makes it so much funnier
I’m considering doing this but the one thing I’m not sure about is how to connect both drives at the same time. Did you use a USB dongle or something?
Teamspeak has a pretty slick new version that looks very much like discord. Not fediverse but pretty easy to self-host.
Is this meant to be the final response to #BlocktheBlue
I played the beta for 20 minutes and was so disappointed I immediately launched sea of thieves to recover.
It just felt like a cash grab done as cheaply as possible.
