100% the other way around for me. My phone is the one thing I own, I use the most. To have a more fluid experience is worth a couple of hundred dollars. The hourly price difference is minuscule.

“Save the planet” is too broad. Electric cars can help with global warming. But may be worse in other areas.
Thing is, global warming is by far and away the largest environmental threat today. So it’s likely very much beneficial to lessen the burden there, while other areas suffer.
But you’re very much right in that it won’t do shit as long as we’re producing electricity through fossil fuel among others. With that said, the same people pushing for electric cars are also pushing for green energy.

Couldn’t have said it better myself! Lovely that it’s the most upvoted one.
Obviously.
Living at a hotel is also cheaper then an apartment if we consider the cost of rent, a bed, electricity, water and etc.
But living at a hotel is obviously not cheaper than renting an apartment, and no one would argue that for like 99% of cases. Perhaps for a couple of days, but long term it will get much more expensive.
As with fast food.
I mean it really doesn’t. There’s literally no fast food you can’t do cheaper at home. Sure, you might have to pay a bit more, but you’ll then have at least twice the amount of food.
It doesn’t get much easier than using library genesis on your iOS device. You’ll have a book within seconds.
Growing is not linear, particular not when competing with a larger alternative.
What basically needs to happen is that Reddit needs to fuck up a couple of more times. Some smaller stuff will net some users, largest stuff, many. After a while critical mass has been reached and it’ll be easier to grown naturally.
Well, that’s at least what I think needs to happen. I’m fully confident Reddit will fuck up as well. Though, this is a marathon, not a sprint.
Impossible beef is plant based. Lab grown meat is made from animal cells.
Not the same thing though.
Yeah. Even the largest leagues and teams are basically impossible to follow on anything but Reddit and Twitter. For smaller teams? Nothing else exists…
