My fatto catto has somehow learned to catch chipmunks but i am unsure if he cant (because he is mostly toothless) kill them or wont. He will bring them to me to show his prowess just… Jammed in his jaws until i praise him and give him a treat to drop the lil guy who quits playing dead and scampers off. Three chipmunk messiahs have been ressurrected thusly.

Funnily enough this has not caused the chipmunks to respect him. A younger chipmunk came up while my killer was recharging in the sun and pulled his butt hair and once he had his attention, scampered off to his safe space on the fence to chirp. I dunno if it’s the same guy but when my cat is inside there’s one little dude who will come by my door to looking for him. Shits like Tom and Jerry out here

Smoking can cause dry-socket which is also incredibly painful. I smoked anyway after my extraction because I’m a filthy addict, rinsing with saline after every puff and got away with it, but it’s a risk yeah

Kinda interesting that Spain is surrounded by two countries with +30% cat ownership but themselves have 16%. Is there something about Spanish society that lowers cat ownership? I read a pet census (2017 tho) which seems to infer the percentage of cat lovers is even lower than this chart, with 8% of households (again 2017) having multiple cats per household creating an inflated 16% number. While Spaniards love dogs as much as anyone, interestingly birds are actually more popular than both cat or dog.

If you wanna play Nintendo games and you hate their hardware or just the company (fair), have you heard of how well the steam deck runs an emulator?

Ive heard it’s actually pretty great, though i haven’t bought one myself. I started sniffing around when i wanted to get my nieces/nephews something to fight over for Christmas. initially was gonna be a switch, but they’re young and those controllers fall apart quicker than shit.

I’m not out here selling steam decks but like check it out if you haven’t and want a “console” rather than a pc solution. i think it’s worth looking into as the mod scene for the Sdeck is heating up too. Anyway comment over.
